A SPACE FOR YOUNG CREATIVES 18-25 WHO LIVE, WORK, OR STUDY IN CROYDON TO HAVE THEIR SAY IN THE ARTS.
The Croydon makers and creators Youth arts Advisory Group (YaAG) is an opportunity for young people (Aged 18-25) to lead the way in speaking with local creatives about what it will take to make Croydon an accessible place for young artists to grow and express themselves fully.
Youth Advocates are leaders working alongside other leaders, shaping a programme that explores how young people can hold the arts sector to account. Throughout the year, we participated in conversations; partnerships; and training workshops that provided skills to advocate for Croydon’s young artists. Culminating in an event that presented this research back to the wider sector, developing new perspectives on the conversation of Youth Engagement in Croydon.
